I recently completed a shirt for my buddy Jack’s band,
STUBB. It was a blast to make as we dig on a lot of the same things, bikers, weird 70′s psychedelia, and the rock and roll music. Everyone should like that stuff.

Anyways, check the shirt. Listen to the band, maybe even see them on their upcoming UK tour.

Two posts in less than a week, how about that?

So, as promised here are a couple of new posters (for sale even! Contact ME for specifics). Checkemout!

One for Unearthly Trance. I was lucky enough to do this one right before the killer new album V came out (which you should buy!). The poster is around 18″ x 24″ and 3 colors.

High On Fire

And then there is this bad boy for 3 (YES 3!) of my favorite bands on one bill, High on Fire, Kylesa, and Torche. It is 18″ x 24″ and 3 colors. This poster is basically a WWI propaganda poster I came across and wanted to use. It is altered slightly, the HOF text was hand drawn by me and the original text was replaced. I just thought the image was fitting for the band.

Hey there! It’s been awhile since I have updated (again!). Anyways I have couple of new posters to post. One for Unearthly Trance and another for High On Fire! Shit yeah, I was stoked to do them. So pics of these soon, it’s been too cloudy and I’ve been busy painting. Pics of that coming too. New stickers and maybe some coozies or some shit too for the holidays, be on the lookout.

Oh, and a possible collaboration with a friend for some art prints is in the works too. Busy Busy Busy.

Well things are going pretty good so far at the new wicked awesome Mass. DROID HQ. I’ve been invited to participate in some work and hopefully have more concert posters lined up too. Even with all the current work (including a search for a full time gig!) I’ve managed to set up a new webstore that you can purchase posters and whatever (shirts? hats? scab collections?) from with the push of a button! The inventory is a little slim at the moment but I plan on adding more soon, so keep your eyes peeled and check back every so often. So head here:

Here is the finished poster for Fucked Up. I’m pretty stoked on how it turned out and hope the band likes it just as much as I do.

Funny thing about this, I had no clue if the halftone dots on the eyes and mouth were too small for me to burn. It turns out I rule and they came out just fine! More pics to follow sooooooooon.

Bobby Long Show Poster

Finished up a new poster last week. It is for UK artist Bobby Long for his upcoming show at the infamous Conservatory in OKC.

It is the first thing I’ve printed since being back in the States and I can’t say how glad I am that I am able to print at home again! Lugging stuff around London was TOUGH.

The poster is a collaboration with artist Brian Phillips. He did the illustration and I added the background and lazy text (on purpose). It’s on some Poptone Banana Split paper, 13 x 19″ and 2 colors. Edition of 59.

Thanks to Brian for lending his talent and Dustin at The Conservatory for the gig! These will be available to buy after the show on the 7th. Contact me ( droid@droidart.com ) for info about them.
