I’ve been working on a new thing I’m calling “Death Bringers”. Not really sure what I’m doing with it, maybe making stickers or shirts… Remains to be seen as of yet. Anyway, here is what it is shaping up to be:

Well things are going pretty good so far at the new wicked awesome Mass. DROID HQ. I’ve been invited to participate in some work and hopefully have more concert posters lined up too. Even with all the current work (including a search for a full time gig!) I’ve managed to set up a new webstore that you can purchase posters and whatever (shirts? hats? scab collections?) from with the push of a button! The inventory is a little slim at the moment but I plan on adding more soon, so keep your eyes peeled and check back every so often. So head here:

Here is the finished poster for Fucked Up. I’m pretty stoked on how it turned out and hope the band likes it just as much as I do.

Funny thing about this, I had no clue if the halftone dots on the eyes and mouth were too small for me to burn. It turns out I rule and they came out just fine! More pics to follow sooooooooon.

New Poster

Working on a new poster for February. Thanks to the wonderful folks over at Secret Serpents I’m doing a poster for the infamous Toronto band, Fucked Up. It is for the Brooklyn date on Feb 19th at Europa, you should check it out if you’re in the area. Here’s a preview of the work in progress:

Bobby Long Show Poster

Finished up a new poster last week. It is for UK artist Bobby Long for his upcoming show at the infamous Conservatory in OKC.

It is the first thing I’ve printed since being back in the States and I can’t say how glad I am that I am able to print at home again! Lugging stuff around London was TOUGH.

The poster is a collaboration with artist Brian Phillips. He did the illustration and I added the background and lazy text (on purpose). It’s on some Poptone Banana Split paper, 13 x 19″ and 2 colors. Edition of 59.

Thanks to Brian for lending his talent and Dustin at The Conservatory for the gig! These will be available to buy after the show on the 7th. Contact me ( droid@droidart.com ) for info about them.

Toys In The Attic ‘Nade

Hey all! I finished up my ‘NADE BUD for the Toys In The Attic Show recently. I’ve been calling him Brain Drain and he’s quite the bad ass, sporting an attitude adjusting chain and a sweeeeeet leather vest. Check him out:

Changed the site around a bit… stark raving mad white, nice simple banner, and a new homepage image is on the way….just need to work on some inks.

Anyways, I figure a new town equals a new start so why not a new looking site too? AM I RIGHT? I’m slowly adjusting to the mountain-ish air and should be back printing at home in a month or so…. just need to work out that day gig thing.

In other news, since the move I’ve managed to relocate all my buttons and stickers which I will post on the site shortly. If you would like some, just let me know ( droid@droidart.com ) and we can work a deal out…

Gallows Printed

Alright, so the Gallows poster is printed. By far it was the easiest printing session I have had in a looooonnnng time. No surprises with this one except for running out of the grey and having to sub in some nice blue….. VARIENTS PEOPLE!!
